The reporting window
This edition covers Monday 5 October through Sunday 11 October in Astana time. Its price reference is the 5 October table preserved in the supplied site backup. Publication on 13 October does not turn those figures into current quotes. New snapshots dated 12 October appear separately in the site tables and are excluded from this historical comparison. Earlier editions keep their existing addresses.
5 October: the top-three reference
The saved table lists Astana AI-92 at ₸253/l for Qazaq Oil and GASENERGY, and ₸251/l for Helios. The corresponding Almaty figures are ₸255, ₸255 and ₸253/l. These are city-level network figures, not confirmed prices for every station. The two-tenge gap amounts to ₸100 on a 50-litre fill, before discounts or detours.
6 October: the ETS announcement
ETS published its October petroleum-product trading schedule. Petrol sessions were scheduled for 13, 15, 19, 21 and 23 October, 10:00–11:00 Astana time; diesel sessions for the same dates, 14:00–15:00. The weekly event is the announcement, not the outcome of future trading. It does not set pump prices. The direct page returned 502 during preparation; the announcement was checked through the available search text.
9 October: an oil reference
Kazinform’s morning report of 9 October placed Brent at $103.34 a barrel and WTI at $90.76. These are dated references from that report, not a weekly closing price: its trading-time description is ambiguous. They cannot be converted directly into a petrol pump price. Planning a personal trip budget requires a separate retail quotation.
A practical calculation
At 8 l/100 km, a 300 km trip needs 24 litres. At the historical references of ₸251 and ₸253/l, that costs ₸6,024 and ₸6,072: a ₸48 difference. Even a short detour may absorb it. Enter your confirmed price and consumption in the calculator. The catalogue helps locate a listing but does not establish fuel availability, a batch’s quality or the currency of every station detail.
