OILCLUB’s 21 September snapshot listed Almaty AI-92 at ₸255/l for Qazaq Oil and GASENERGY, up from ₸249/l. Helios remained at ₸249/l in that snapshot. The other 16 values in our top-three table matched the previous release. This compares dated city-level network data, not verified quotations for every individual station.

The public Interfax-Kazakhstan teaser dated 25 September at 20:16 placed Brent near $106.2 a barrel and reported a decline during Friday trading. The full report requires a subscription; only public information is used here. This intraday reference is neither a weekly closing price nor a formula for petrol prices at a specific pump in Kazakhstan.

The move from ₸249 to ₸255/l adds six tenge per litre, about 2.4%. A 50-litre fill costs ₸300 more. A hypothetical 300 km trip at 8 l/100 km requires 24 litres: ₸5,976 at the earlier reference and ₸6,120 at the later one, a ₸144 difference. This calculation excludes detours, congestion and discounts. If a cheaper pump requires extra driving, add that fuel cost before comparing the total.
Reading the weekly comparison
Compare the same grades and retain the date of each observation. A city-level reference helps planning but does not replace a quotation from your chosen station.
